Our guest, leading Reiki master, researcher, contemplative practitioner and world’s foremost Medical Reiki expert Pamela Miles, helps us to place Reiki practice beyond speculative metaphysics and describes Reiki practice from a “straightforward, common sense, documented physiologic and spiritual perspective that requires no belief, complete with a plausible model that is ripe for research.”

Pamela Miles

Pamela Miles is an international spiritual teacher, Reiki master and integrative health consultant with five decades of spiritual practice. A voice for the role of spirituality in health and well-being, Pamela is known for sharing spiritual insight with simple, direct elegance, and her preference for continuing inquiry over facile answers.

Besides her private practice supporting people to find their happiness and wellness, Pamela is helping to return spirituality and self care to health care. Since the mid 90s, she has pioneered the integration of Reiki practice in conventional medicine, creating the first hospital Reiki program (and many others); teaching at academic medical centers, including Harvard Medical School, Yale Medical School, and the National Institutes of Health; collaborating on research; and publishing in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the prestigious Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Pamela offers Reiki professionals from all lineages continuing education to help them understand the interface of Reiki and conventional medicine so they can collaborate more effectively with medical professionals. She also offers communication training to help Reiki practitioners bring Reiki practice to the mainstream public.
