David Muehsam, PhD guides readers through Shifting the Paradigm for Biofield Science and Healing, highlights research and identifies the challenges to promote global, healing through biofield science and Energy Medicine practices.
As our entire world is experiencing a global shift, David says “Today, there are signs of a similar paradigm shift in views on the nature of healing. Advances in a wide range of scientific disciplines, have begun to emphasize the importance of information in the natural processes of life.”
Integration of Biofield-based Practices
David adds, “Along with these scientific advances, the integration of biofield-based practices into clinical use has brought traditional perspectives into mainstream medical culture and scientific discourse. Informed by the cosmologies of indigenous traditions from which they emerged, biofield and subtle energy healing practices describe an interconnected world, using concepts of subtle energies.”
Over the last year, with the goal of advancing biofield science and the practice of healing, Daivid and the Consciousness and Healing Initiative embarked on the Systems Mapping for Healing Evolution project.
The project aims to contribute to the science and practice of healing, with an emphasis on the growing body of knowledge about biofield and subtle energy healing.
A systems change approach was taken that involved gathering together data from practitioners, scientific research, researchers, device manufacturers, stakeholders and potential funders involved in this area.
We are excited to share Shifting the Paradigm for Biofield Science and Healing. Also, check our report page for more valuable knowledge and resources.
Be sure to follow up with Energy Magazine for more energy healing developments and features.

Dear dr. Mühsam
thank you for your kind explanations- but I’m still having the same problem as usual- on what is based all this? I’m a trained health practioner in bioresonance (therapy but also in diagnostics) and it always shows up that I’m much more advanced then any labtest. The difference here might be that we are in the pre-dlinical searches and ordinary labtests only show up whil having the problems manifested?!?
I’d like to learn muchmore concerning your systems, thank you for your kind attention, all best from isa
Thank you Isa,
You touch upon an interesting question about the degree to which devices might be able perform as well or better than humans. Certainly, humans are able to detect subtlely and nuance to a remarkable degree, and one might propose that trained people might be better than machines at many tasks. A good example is pulse diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a skill that takes much time to learn, and which to my knowledge, no machine has improved upon.
And on the other hand, devices are able to detect things that humans may not be able to, for example, infrared and ultraviolet light, polarization, and so forth. So, it could be possible that devices will improve on some human abilities, perhaps in a manner analogous to the way that night-vision devices can allow people to see better in the dark.
It’s also interesting that you mention that devices may not detect problems until they have manifested physically, and that humans may be able to detect problems earlier. It certainly would be interesting to compare human and device diagnoses, and also to assess medical intuitives to for accuracy.
Best,
David
Hi David – I teach Medical Intuition to wellness professionals and have tested graduates to 98% accuracy rates. Research on their efficacy was published in JACM. We would love to take part in a comparison study.
hello David,
I’m sorry to be that late- didn’t saw that all was officially posted here…huge gins 😉
About pulse diagnostics… perhaps should we discuss this a little closer; is there any possibility to get your personal e-mail address please?!? I’ve some interesting infos here- but would like to discuss this merely privately.
Thank you and all best , kindest regards from Isa
